Katie and Jay’s wedding was pure warmth. The kind of day that felt emotional in all the right ways—laid-back, full of meaning, and totally centred around the people they love.

Summergrove Estate, on the Gold Coast, was looking incredible (as always). Rolling hills, that little white chapel, and the kind of sunset you couldn’t plan even if you tried. That glow over the hinterland never gets old. The ceremony was heartfelt and genuine—Katie looked absolutely stunning, and Jay couldn’t stop grinning the entire time.

Afterwards, we wandered the grounds for portraits while the guests headed into the courtyard for drinks. These two were so chill and connected—it made shooting them feel more like hanging out than anything formal.

The reception was relaxed, intimate, and full of beautiful little moments—sweet speeches, hugs between courses, and a dance floor that built up slowly and ended in full chaos (the good kind).
